DistrX.io

Multi-warehouse inventory management software: Stock you can promise, to the lot and the bin.

DistrX.io knows what is on hand, what is already promised to an order and what is on a truck between warehouses. Pickers are sent to the right bin and the right lot, so what you sell is what's really on the shelf.

Inventory

Built for a real warehouse

Multiple buildings, thousands of SKUs and products that expire.

Multi-warehouse

Each warehouse has its own stock, bins and reorder points. Orders fill from the warehouse you choose, and you can see every warehouse at once.

Available to promise

On hand, allocated to confirmed orders, and available. Reps and the portal only sell what’s available, so you don’t promise the same case twice.

Lots & expiry

Lot numbers and expiry dates are captured at receiving. Lots that will expire soon are flagged before they are a write-off.

Scan-to-pick

Pick lists come in bin order. A scan checks the item, the unit and the lot, and a wrong scan is stopped right away.

Transfers

Move stock between warehouses with a transfer. While it’s on the road it counts in neither warehouse, and it’s received at the other end.

Cycle counts

Count an aisle or a category without seeing what the system expects. Variances show their value at cost before anything is posted.

Units of measure

Each, pack, case and pallet, with a barcode for each. Stock is counted in the smallest unit and shown however you like.

Labels & documents

Bin labels, case labels, pick lists and packing slips print from the browser.

A ledger behind every number

Every stock move is a line in a ledger: received, picked, transferred, adjusted, returned. Every number on screen can be traced back to the moves behind it.

Lots & expiry

The oldest stock leaves first

When stock comes in, its lot and expiry date are recorded. When it goes out, pickers are sent to the lot that expires first. If a vendor recalls a lot, you can see in seconds which customers received it.

  • First-expiring-first suggested on every pick list
  • An expiry report by warehouse, so short-dated stock can be sold off
  • Each lot traced to the invoices it went out on
Picking

Pick lists in walking order

A pick list is sorted by bin, so the picker walks the aisle once. Each scan confirms the product and the lot, and the count goes up. Anything short goes back to the order as a backorder.

  • Several orders on one route can be picked together in one trip
  • Catch weights captured at packing for products sold by the pound
  • Pickers see quantities and bins, not prices
Counting

Counts that don’t need a weekend

Count a few aisles a day instead of closing the warehouse. Counts are blind, so nobody counts toward the expected number, and each variance is shown at cost before you post it.

  • Count by aisle, bin, category or vendor
  • Variances above a value you set need a manager
  • Every adjustment recorded with who counted it and who posted it
FAQ

Questions, answered

Anything else? Email us — a human replies.

Can I track lots without tracking every product by lot?

Yes. Turn on lot tracking for the products that need it, such as food, chemicals or anything with a recall risk. The rest are tracked by quantity alone.

Do you support bins and locations?

Yes. Each warehouse can have bins, and a product can have a main bin plus overflow bins. Pick lists, counts and receiving all use them.

What scanners work?

Barcode scanners that type like a keyboard (USB or Bluetooth) work anywhere in the browser, and phones and tablets can use their camera as a scanner.

How is stock kept right when many orders come in at once?

Each order holds its stock in one step that checks what’s available. Two orders can never both take the last case, whether they came from the office, a rep or the portal.
