Wholesale order management & invoicing software: Orders in, invoices out, nothing typed twice.
DistrX.io takes an order however it arrives, prices it for that customer, holds the stock and sends it to the warehouse. It invoices what was actually delivered, on that customer's terms.
Six steps, one record
Each step adds to the same order. Nobody re-keys it, and nothing gets lost between the office, the warehouse and the truck.
- 01 /
Order
From a rep’s phone, the customer portal or the office taking a call — always at that customer’s prices.
SO-10482 - 02 /
Allocate
Stock is reserved from the right warehouse and lot the moment the order is confirmed. Short? It backorders.
15 units held - 03 /
Pick & pack
A pick list in walking order. Every scan checks the item and the lot, and catch weights are captured.
Bins 02 → 12 - 04 /
Deliver
The order joins a route. The driver records what was delivered, short or refused, with a signature.
Route 3 · stop 2 - 05 /
Invoice
Invoiced from what was delivered, not what was ordered, on the customer’s terms. Refusals become credit memos.
INV-20931 - 06 /
Get paid
Payments apply to the oldest invoices first, statements go out, aging stays honest — and it all syncs to accounting.

Everything an order goes through
From the first quote to the last payment, each document grows out of the one before it.
Quotes
Send a priced quote as a PDF. When the customer says yes, it becomes an order in one click, at the prices you quoted.
Repeat orders
Most wholesale orders are last week’s order with a few changes. Start from any past order, or from what the customer usually buys.
Fast line entry
Search by name, SKU or UPC from the keyboard. Each result shows the customer’s price and what’s available in each warehouse.
Backorders
Short lines stay open on the order and fill themselves when stock is received. You can also ship what you have and invoice the rest later.
Ship dates & cut-offs
Each order has a ship date and a warehouse. Orders taken after the day’s cut-off move to the next delivery day for that route.
Holds
Credit limit, past-due balance, price below cost: orders that break a rule are saved but held until someone allowed to release them does.
Invoice what was delivered
Invoices are made from what the driver delivered. Short and refused items never make it onto the bill.
Credit memos & returns
Damaged, refused or returned goods become a credit memo against the invoice. Stock goes back on the shelf or into a write-off.
Terms & statements
Net 7, 15, 30 or your own terms, early-payment discounts, and monthly statements by email with every open invoice on them.
Every order, and where it is
One list shows every order from every channel: draft, held, picking, on a truck, invoiced. Filter by route, warehouse, rep or status, and act on many orders at once.
- You can see where each order came from: the office, the rep app or the portal
- Print pick lists, assign orders to a route or invoice a whole day of deliveries in one go
- Held orders sit at the top of the list for the people who can release them
Invoices that match the truck
An invoice is made from what was delivered, on the customer’s terms, with gap-free numbers and a PDF. Early-payment discounts are worked out for you, and the invoice goes to accounting without anyone typing it in.
- Signed proof of delivery attached to the invoice
- Early-payment discounts shown on the invoice
- Invoices emailed one at a time or in batches, plus monthly statements
Credit limits that actually stop orders
Each customer has a credit limit and aging that is always current. An order that would take them over the limit, or a customer more than 60 days past due, goes on hold automatically. A manager can release it, and the release is recorded with their name.
- You set the hold rules: over the limit, past due by so many days, below cost
- Reps see the customer’s balance before they take the order
- Holds and releases are recorded on the order’s timeline
Questions, answered
Anything else? Email us — a human replies.
Can I take orders by phone, from reps and online at once?
Yes. Orders from the office, the rep app and the B2B portal all land on the same order board as ordinary sales orders, at the customer’s prices, holding the same stock.
What happens when I’m short on an item?
The short quantity stays open on the order as a backorder. You can ship what you have and invoice it, and the backorder fills itself when the stock is received. It also counts toward the next purchase order suggestion.
Do invoices follow what was ordered or what was delivered?
What was delivered. The driver records anything short, damaged or refused, and the invoice is made from that. Refused items turn into a credit memo, so the customer’s statement is right.
Can I charge a delivery fee or a minimum order?
Yes. You can set an order minimum and a fee for orders below it, or add a fuel or delivery charge as its own line.
Do you handle sales tax?
Most wholesale sales are for resale, so customers with a resale certificate on file are charged no tax and the certificate is printed on the invoice. Taxable customers and taxable items are charged at the rates you set.
